Here I prove an introduction to my Research Project Assignment where I reflect on my experience of “the three good things” project to see if it had a positive impact on my well-being.
The “the three good things” project is a project I participated in along with my classmates. For a week straight we had to jot down three things throughout our day that make us happy or effected us positively and then talk about it a little bit. During the project I found myself looking at my day to day interactions and normal doings with a little more gratitude. In blog #10 A Week of Three Good Things I listed the days and things that impacted me. In blog #11, I talk about the "three good things" process and give a short summary on how I gathered my thoughts in the project. In blog #12 I took a different approach. I went into detail about one journal entry for the process. I talked about how my friend helped me on my essay and it impacted me positively. For blog #13 I decided to post pictures on my first draft. I chose this approach so I could share with my peers the start of my writing process. It allowed them to give me their feedback on my draft as well which I could use in my final draft.
During the process I was able to really look at my every day life and find ways to appreciate the moments more in different ways. Relationships and accomplishments play a big role in my research project.
After I completed draft #1 I met with my small group in class and they helped me review and check what main components I was missing in the draft. I also found time to meet with my professor and gather more advice to put towards a new draft. I went in and made substantial changes to allow my second draft to hit the main puts and develop into something better.
